The Planet of the Apes collection explores worlds where intelligent apes dominate and humanity has fallen. Starting with the classic Planet of the Apes (1968) and its sequels depicting a post-apocalyptic future, the franchise was rebooted with Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Dawn… (2014), and War… (2017), focusing on the apes’ ascension led by Caesar. This saga continues generations later in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024), examining evolving ape societies.
