The A Writer’s Odyssey film collection is a Chinese fantasy–action franchise that blends reality with imaginative fictional worlds. It began with A Writer’s Odyssey (2021), telling the story of a novelist whose writings mysteriously affect the real world. Its sequel, A Writer’s Odyssey 2 (2025), expands the fantasy universe and further explores the conflict between the creator and the fate of his characters.
